The Company:This exceptional full-service Events Agency are the leaders in providing creative solutions and delivery on end-to-end experiences domestically and internationally. They have a diverse range of clients from medical to fashion and everything in between. They are looking for an experienced Travel Manager to join their growing team.
Position Terms: - Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working 3 days in office, 2 from home, located in North Sydney
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super
The Role:
The Travel Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of travel arrangements for a variety of events both domestically and internationally. The Travel Manager will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the Agency's clients.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Scheduling and flight planning for sales budgeting and pitches.
- Liaising with airlines for quotes, bookings, implementation of all group bookings.
- Managing and ticketing of all flight bookings.
- Tracking budget and spending of group flight costs.
- Working directly with the Event Managers and/or clients for optimal delivery of all travel services.
- Passport checks and visa applications.
- Ensuring accurate accounting for flight expenditure.
- Accurate input flight details to the company IT software.
- Hotel, car hire and other extension travel bookings as required.
- Issuance of Travel Insurance policies as required.
- Occasional travel within Australia and worldwide is required to support the events team onsite.
- Should time permit, assisting the events team as required.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience managing group travel bookings, ideally with experience within the events industry. Proficiency in software such as Galileo GDS, Amadeus, and/or AirTickets is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of event software eg EventsAIR, Swoogo and Stova is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in software such as Galileo GDS, Amadeus, and AirTickets.
- Experience with accounting software is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the MICE industry and suppliers.
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
- Ability to work from the office 3 days a week, located in North Sydney.
