A boutique conference and incentive events agency based in Melbourne that has a great team environment are looking for their next team member. This role will work in their events team and also look after travel for this team as well. This organisation prides itself on culture and everyone in the team has a great can do attitude.

  • Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus super 
The Role:

The Travel and Events Coordinator reports into the Operations Manager and will be a fundamental support to the events team, to ensure successful, accurate and on time delivery of various programs and events. This role needs someone that can work effectively with minimal supervision, and is requiring someone that has passion for the incentive travel, conferences and events that they would working on. 

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Travel Management, booking flights, transfers and accommodation 
  • Researching venues and developing great relationships with venues 
  • Securing venues for clients at reduced rates
  • Sourcing suppliers and developing great relationships with them
  • Managing supplier and venue contracts 
  • Ensuring the best rates for clients 
  • Budget and financial coordination 
  • Administration duties 
  • Registration management with EventsAIR
  • Website management 
The Candidate: 

With a key focus on attention to detail, the right candidate will have booked flights, accommodation and handled transfers previously with an understanding of how this works within events. This candidate will also have registrations experience and an ability to work directly with attendees to handle manual registrations and requirements. 
  • Experience with GDS Travel booking systems and or registration systems like EventsAIR and CVent highly desirable 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and strategic time management skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
  • Sound judgment and decision making
  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
