Position Terms:
- Full-Time, Permanent Role
- Working 4 days in the office, 1 from home
- Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus super plus commission/bonus
The Role:
The Sponsorship Sales Executive is responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages on a wide portfolio of events, including national and international conferences and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Meeting sponsorship and exhibition sales KPI’s through calls, meetings and presentations to prospects, including prospecting, sales negotiation and closing.
- Working autonomously and proactively across multiple projects to ensure sales targets and deadlines are met.
- Regular client facing reporting.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective sponsors and exhibitors across your event portfolio.
- Developing and maintaining rapport with clients.
- Working with the Sponsorship Director and respective project management teams to develop and execute event sponsorship campaign strategy.
- Collaborating with internal marketing, operations, and other departments/staff to support client management/event delivery as needed.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a sales role, ideally within the events industry in a sponsorship sales role. The candidate will be self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Confident communicator with strong phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach skills.
- Comfortable speaking with senior executives and influencing decision-making.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- A positive, proactive, and resilient mindset.
- Confident and articulate negotiation, relationship and networking skills.
- Ability to travel for events and meetings when required.
- Ability to work from the office 4 days a week.
