The Company:

This fantastic events agency are leaders in organising world-class events for a variety of high-profile clients. They specialise in delivering in-person and virtual events, meetings and conferences across Australia. They are looking for a Sponsorship Sales Executive to join their team.

  • Working in the office Tues-Thurs
  • Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 plus super plus comms
The Role:

The Sponsorship Sales Executive is responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages on behalf of the Event Agency's clients' projects, including national, regional and international conferences and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Meeting sponsorship and exhibition sales KPI’s through calls, meetings and presentations to prospects, including prospecting, sales negotiation and closing.
  • Working autonomously and proactively across multiple projects to ensure sales targets and deadlines are met.
  • Regular client facing reporting.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective sponsors and exhibitors across your event portfolio.
  • Developing and maintaining rapport with clients.
  • Working with the Sponsorship Director and respective project management teams to develop and execute event sponsorship campaign strategy.
  • Collaborating with internal marketing, operations, and other departments/staff to support client management/event delivery as needed.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a PCO, Events Agency or Association in association management, sponsorship sales for association events, or a similar discipline with a proven track record of achievements. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, F2F, phone and email sales ability are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience in sponsorship and/or delegate sales within the events industry.
  • Ability to conceptualise the sponsor & delegate experiences when building strategies.
  • Understand the client/provider dynamic between professional conference organisers and clients.
  • Confidence to communicate with C-Suite executives, Board Members and leading professionals in their field who are in leadership roles within client organisations.
  • Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage and establish rapport with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week.
  • Ability to travel interstate and internationally for events when required.
