The Company:

This wonderful creative agency is known for their exciting ideas and meticulous production. They deliver momentous live experiences for their clients. This agency works with a lot of NFP clients but also works with major clients in other sectors across Australia. They are looking for a Senior Event Producer to join their growing team. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role; hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 from office
  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus super 
The Role:

The Senior Event Producer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events and experiential projects on time and within budget. The Senior Event Producer is responsible for developing creative, developing budgets and schedules, monitoring those budgets and schedules during the project life cycle, managing third party suppliers, managing resource allocation, and ensuring smooth delivery onsite.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Provide leadership for the team and clients 
  • Lead the team in the task of developing and implementing projects 
  • Work with the team to brainstorm ideas and developing creative concepts
  • Prepare concept proposals including researching and presentations
  • Manage visualisation of concepts by briefing designers
  • Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings
  • Handle all client liaison
  • Timeline and milestone planning
  • Write and manage run sheets, bump in and bump out schedules
  • Lead liaison and coordination for all third party suppliers
  • Lead liaison and coordination with procution and build teams 
  • Lead project budgeting
  • Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget
  • Develop and manage all production schedules, specifications, and budgets for assigned jobs
  • National and international travel to plan for and deliver live projects
  • Produce detailed OH&S plans and risk assessments as required
  • Ensure all legal/contractual obligations are met with both clients and suppliers on all projects
  • Supply schedule, budget, assumptions, and scope considerations for all production elements
  • Write and present debrief and wrap up
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Producer or Senior Producer within an Events Agency. Experience managing clients, managing internal teams and managing project is essential for this role. The candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Design and styling skills is highly desirable
  • Work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Working knowledge of all MS office and proficiency in Keynote
  • Confident to take the initiative and share ideas
  • Exceptional client management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent budgeting and financial management skills
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for events when required
