The Company:This brilliant B2B Events Agency operates across APAC and globally. In partnership with their clients, they create world-class B2B event experiences from conferences to VIP Hospitality experiences to roundtables to international incentive trips. They are looking for a Senior Event Manager to join their Sydney team on a 12-Month Contract.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time 12-Month Contract
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 plus super (depending on experience)
The Role:
The Senior Event Manager will join the team on a 12-Month Contract to take ownership of creating and managing high-quality B2B events from concept through to delivery. The role will work closely with clients to deliver concurrent projects around APAC, focusing on providing an outstanding client experience while maintaining timelines, budgets and of course, outstanding onsite execution.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Own end-to-end delivery of premium B2B events, ensuring flawless execution from concept development through post-event wrap-up
- Work closely with the Account Director to build and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Create event proposals for enquiries in partnership with our sales team
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Manage suppliers and venues to deliver seamless event production and attendee experiences
- Drive creative event concepts and innovative engagement strategies that elevate our client’s brands and wow audiences
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing B2B conferences, summits, roundtable and/or other corporate events. Experience working within a B2B Events Agency or Events Agency is highly desirable.
- Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders is essential.
- Impeccable organisation and attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management and the ability to be a self-starter and drive projects forward.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Experience managing the end-to-end event lifecycle.
- Ability to work from the office 3 days a week.
- Ability to travel for event delivery when required.
