The Company:

This excellent boutique events agency specialises in world-class conference and event management for their clients. They are looking for an experienced Senior Event Manager to join their growing team to manage events and conferences for a wide range of clients and events.

  • Working 3-4 days in the office
  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus super
The Role:

The Senior Event Manager will be responsible for spearheading large-scale events and programs for corporate clients. The Senior Event Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of each event, from the initial planning through to execution and post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Overseeing the management of conferences and events for corporate clients, from initial brief through to delivery of the project.
  • Managing an internal team of events professionals on projects and mentoring them to assist them with their growth. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Managing event budgets and handling negotiation with suppliers to ensure the best budgets for client events. 
  • Leading on-site event operations, including troubleshooting problems and making decisions quickly to ensure the best outcome for clients. 
  • Conducting site inspections for events, overseeing venue negotiations, and managing supplier contracts.
  • Developing creative event concepts and proposals that align with client objectives and enhance the attendee experience.
  • Develop post-event reports, including evaluation of outcomes and recommendations for future improvements for clients.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in the events industry, ideally as an Event Manager or Senior Event Manager within the conference space. Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong event management skills, with a demonstrated background in conference and event management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • High detail oriented and quality focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Proven track record of building solid relationships with a broad set of stakeholders. 
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours when required. 
  • Ability to work from the office 3-4 days per week.
