The Company:

A National Association with offices in states right across Australia, this role will be part of the Victorian team and work on events for this division. The Association puts together major events and conferences for their members and this team works with the committees to come up with all the content required for these events. 

Position Terms:

• Full-time, permanent role
• Hybrid work available
• Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super  

The Role:

Driving the creation of content for the conferences and events this role will be pivotal in researching and being up to spend with industry trends for the Association. This role will work with the Associations committees and pull together leading speakers, content, panels and the entire conference program. The conferences and events will be both virtual and face to face throughout the year and will require a producer that can multitask and provide excellent ideas and develop the content and get sensational speakers on board.  

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Researching the industry to develop specific conference & event agendas, speakers and content
• Able to creatively identify gaps in the market and conceptualise conference content and create new conferences with the operations team
• Secure speakers identified as thought leaders in their industry through research conducted
• Liaising with speakers and ensuring content fits requirements of conference
• Oversee production of conferencing material ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Creation of all conference promotional material
• Responsible for project management and implementation of conferences and events

The Candidate: 

Having worked as a Conference Producer or Senior Conference Producer in either an agency or Association previously, you will be looking for your next step up. A passion for events and ability to research and come up with innovative ideas is essential for this role.

• Senior level ability to create content and research new emerging concepts within the market
• An understanding of the current conference market seen as a positive
• Experience conducting research 
• A high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and drive to succeed
