The Company:

This Events Supplier is a leading provider of premium audio visual production and on-site support across Australia’s most prestigious venues.  With operations spanning across Australia, they partner with a range of clients to deliver seamless, high-end event experiences. They are looking for a Senior AV Technician to join their team at a high-profile venue in Sydney.

  • Working full time in the venue
  • Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super
The Role:

The Senior AV Technician is a senior, client-facing position delivering high-end production for global brands, executive teams, and premium corporate clients. The Senior AV Technician will play a key role in the technical delivery of events ranging from boardroom briefings and leadership forums through to gala dinners, conferences, and brand activations. 

The role will be hands-on across audio, vision, and lighting, while also contributing to pre-event planning, client communication, and team leadership.

  • High-profile events for a range of companies and brands
  • Multi-camera setups, vision switching & presentation delivery
  • Corporate conferencing, panels & keynote sessions
  • Intelligent lighting, LED walls & custom event builds
  • Hybrid & live-streaming event solutions
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in AV production for a range of live events. Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with clients, venue teams and internal staff is essential for this role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and calm under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Flexible availability aligned with event schedules
  • High attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Strong proficiency in at least one discipline, with working knowledge across others:
    • Lighting: GrandMA, DMX systems, LED fixtures
    • Audio: A&H digital consoles, Dante, RF wireless systems
    • Vision: Presentation switching, playback, videoconferencing
  • Ability to work from the venue 5 days a week, located in the CBD.
