The Company:

This fabulous Event Supplier has been supplying the events and exhibition industries for many years. The team produce amazing custom designed exhibition stands, brand activations, retail and commercial products and more. Their client base is large and they work with event agencies, corporates, retailers and exhibition companies. They are looking for their next Senior Account Manager to join their team. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • Working a minimum of three days in the office per week
  • Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 plus super (depending on experience)
The Role:

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for every aspect of the client experience, including strong oversight of projects from briefing through to successful outcomes both externally and internally. The Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for the sales and promotion of products and services to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Source new clients through industry networking, established contacts and maintaining an awareness of upcoming bids and tenders. 
  • Taking ownership of each project and event from initial briefing through to delivery and post-event.
  • Managing the allocation and facilitation of tasks.
  • Developing event plans and documentation.
  • Adhering to budgets and time constraints.
  • Overseeing all production standards and ensuring compliance to specification.
  • Monitoring costs against project budget and update forecasts of time and cost.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of the job after completion, including any changes/additions during the event.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a background in account management within the events industry. Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable liaising directly with clients, as well as have the ability to be hands-on during the production & delivery of each project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously, with exceptional time-management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to manage change and conflict.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning & administration skills.
  • CAD experience desired, but not essential
  • Available to travel interstate and to sites when needed.
  • A drivers license essential for this role.
  • Ability to work from the office a minimum of 3 days a week, located in Northern Melbourne.
