The Company:
This agency based in Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore produce prestigious, inventive and iconic experiences with a cutting-edge, conceptual approach. They are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

- Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 plus super
- Weekend and outside of hours work required for events
The Role:
Based in the Sydney office, the Production Manager plays a key role in supporting the operational, technical, and logistical aspects of all events. You’ll work closely with our creative and production teams to deliver high-end, seamless event experiences, bringing innovative problem-solving and precision to every detail.
Key Responsibilities include; - Manager and ensure that supplier briefs are clear and that expectations are met.
- Assist in pitch design and resource identification, utilising tools like CAD/Vectorworks to develop detailed plans and technical drawings.
- Manage audio-visual needs, power distribution, and staging requirements, ensuring all technical aspects are aligned with the event's creative vision.
- Maintain tight control over budgets, ensuring efficient resource use and financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain critical production documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and risk management protocols
- Manage both in-house and external teams, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment to deliver top-tier projects.
- Draft floor plans, technical plans, and 3D production drawings to support the design, production, and technical delivery.
- Manage the production of multiple projects at a time.
- Drive and meet production timelines and scheduling.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in production management within the events industry, ideally with a background in public location, large-scale and luxury events. Having worked in an agency, theatre production, TV or supplier, you will bring a solution focused approach to all events and projects and will love working within a team.
- Drafting experience in Vectorworks and/or CAD is essential.
- Experience in production, build, and technical (AV, lighting, rigging) aspects of logistics and operational requirements for events is essential.
- Great attention to detail.
- A solutions driven approach to everything you do.
- Ability to multi-task and work on different projects at once.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Budget management and supplier contractor management experience.
- Work autonomously with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to drive production and work collaboratively with producers and creatives for successful delivery.
- Strategic and solution-based thinking.
- A creative mindset that aligns technical feasibility with conceptual designs, ensuring flawless event execution that resonates with client objectives.
- Ability to travel for events when required.
- Ability to work outside of normal office ours for events when required.
