The Company:

Specialising in coordinating and facilitating in-person, hybrid and virtual meetings and events for clients, this events supplier is looking for a Meeting & Event Technology Coordinator to join their team. Working with a range of corporate clients, this supplier uses their own proprietary technology to bring their clients events and meetings to life.

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Working 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home
  • Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 plus super
The Role:

The Meeting & Event Technology Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating and delivering meetings and events for a range of clients using the Supplier's proprietary technology. This role involves both the behind-the-scenes technology aspect, but is also a client-facing role. The Meeting & Event Technology Coordinator will attend client meetings with c-suite level executives as well as will train clients on the use of their technology.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Organising and managing the hardware and software components of in-room, virtual and hybrid meetings and events.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, including leading client meetings with c-suite level executives.
  • Ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Producing webcasts / facilitating voting and Q&A in their proprietary software.
  • Ensuring that their products and services are delivered to the highest possible standards.
  • Delivering meetings both onsite and/or remotely.
  • Supporting clients in the lead up to their meeting and/or event.
  • Attending pre-meeting rehearsals and training sessions with clients.
  • Implementation of solutions onsite, in live environments.
  • Training clients on the use of their proprietary technology.
  • Liaising with AV suppliers to ensure smooth event set-up.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills with a background and passion for the events industry. Experience in AV or broadcast software is desirable but not essential. Experience working in a client facing role and the confidence to communicate with c-suite executives is essential for this role.
  • Highly organised, driven, well-presented, and proactive.
  • Good knowledge of, and an interest in, technology and/or IT.
  • Confident and comfortable in a variety of client-facing situations.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite of programs.
  • A strong multitasker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Hold a full Australian driving license
  • Ability to travel domestically, and occasionally internationally, for events when required.
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week.
