The Company:

This rapidly expanding B2B Events Agency has a growing international presence are looking for a Marketing & Events Manager to join their Sydney team. This Agency develops, organises and delivers corporate events, including roundtables, conferences and summits.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home
  • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super 
The Role:

The Marketing & Events Manager will be responsible for driving engagement and creating memorable experiences through innovative events and digital marketing strategies. This is a dual role managing comprehensive digital marketing strategies as well as organising national and international events.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Strategising and Executing Campaigns: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that promote community engagement and drive membership and attendance at events.
  • Event Planning and Management: Organise and oversee events, webinars, and networking sessions that provide value and foster connections among community members.
  • Supporting Group Leaders: Collaborate with group leaders to develop targeted outreach efforts, helping them attract more relevant members and enhancing overall community engagement.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Create compelling content that highlights industry trends, event details, and community initiatives, engaging members across multiple platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with technology leaders and community influencers to encourage participation in events and online discussions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilise analytics to track campaign performance and event success, adjusting strategies to optimise engagement and reach.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records within CRM systems to ensure a seamless experience for community members and effective follow-up post-events.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Act as a key communicator, addressing member concerns and maximising opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather member feedback to continuously improve event offerings and digital strategies, ensuring alignment with community needs.
  • Support: Build new focus networks and groups that will allow for overall growth and establishment of new groups.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have strong experience in event management and digital marketing with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven ability to design and execute successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Event Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing impactful events, both online and in-person.
  • Strong Relationship Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and community members.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Community Engagement Background: Previous experience in community management, marketing, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Content Development: Experience in creating engaging marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
