The Company:

This world-class Events Agency organises and creates a wide variety of large scale Exhibitions, Trade Shows, Fairs and Events. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join their team to assist with the delivery of marketing activities across the company. The role will cover both consumer events, as well as B2B trade exhibitions focused on specific industries.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • Working 5 days in the office, located on the Northern Beaches
  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super
The Role:

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the General Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategy for each event alongside the larger marketing team, as well as liaise external partners and suppliers. 

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and attendance for Company events.
  • Coordinate all marketing activities to generate leads for both exhibition sales and attendance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to better understand current market challenges and opportunities.
  • Manage external partners including digital advertising agencies and consultants to deliver amazing campaigns.
  • Utilise appropriate platforms to design and distribute compelling campaigns that keep our audience engaged and informed about Company events.
  • Oversee the management of social media platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to foster community engagement and drive ticket sales.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce eye-catching content for event promotion.
  • Maintain and update event websites to ensure they reflect the latest event details and promotions.
  • Track, analyse and utilise performance of marketing campaigns using data-driven insights/information to refine and optimise future efforts for better results.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, influencers, and media outlets to amplify event visibility and extend reach to broader audiences.
  • Engage with event attendees and followers through appropriate avenues and methods
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Assistant with experience working in events marketing. Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns for large scale B2C and B2B events is highly desirable.
  • Experience using EDM software - namely Mailchimp or similar
  • Experience using website software such as Wordpress
  • Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
  • Highly organised, can multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Team player with excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high accuracy level
  • Experienced in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience executing Digital Ad Campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google) is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with Google Analytics is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days a week
