The Company:

This leading live events and production company delivers technical production solutions across conferences, exhibitions, live events and corporate productions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Lighting Technician to join their Adelaide team.

Position Terms:

• Permanent, full-time role
• Salary: $80k-$100k plus super

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lighting Technician will be responsible for preparing, installing and operating professional lighting systems for a diverse range of live events. This role suits someone passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences through innovative lighting design and operation.

Key Responsibilities include;

• Install, patch and operate intelligent and conventional lighting systems
• Program and operate lighting consoles during live events
• Read lighting plots and technical drawings
• Rig, focus and test lighting equipment
• Troubleshoot lighting systems under pressure
• Assist with warehouse preparation and equipment maintenance
• Lead production crews on event installations where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Liaise professionally with clients and project managers

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Lighting Technician within the events industry. Knowledge of intelligent lighting fixtures and control systems is essential for this role.

• Experience programming lighting consoles
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card
• EWP, Forklift or MR/HR Licence advantageous
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
• Ability to travel for event delivery when required
