The Company:

Our client is a well-established exhibition and event solutions business that delivers custom exhibition stands, displays and large-scale event installations across Australia. Renowned for delivering high-quality projects and exceptional customer service, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

Position Terms:
  • Permanent, full-time role
  • Working full-time in the office, located in Northern Sydney
  • Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 plus super
The Role:

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of exhibition and event installations from planning through to on-site execution. Acting as the key client representative on-site, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of exhibition and event installation projects.
  • Coordinate project schedules, labour, contractors, transport and site logistics.
  • Lead on-site installation and dismantle crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions.
  • Ensure all Work Health & Safety requirements are met and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor project budgets, labour utilisation and resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, contractor timesheets and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with internal production, design and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a highly organised and hands-on Project Manager with experience delivering exhibitions and events projects. You will be confident managing multiple stakeholders, leading teams on-site and solving problems under pressure.
  • Previous experience managing exhibition, event, construction or fit-out projects.
  • Strong project planning and organisational skills.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and on-site crews.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety practices within live event or construction environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during event installations.
  • Current driver's licence.
