The Company:Our client is a well-established exhibition and event solutions business that delivers custom exhibition stands, displays and large-scale event installations across Australia. Renowned for delivering high-quality projects and exceptional customer service, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
Position Terms: - Permanent, full-time role
- Working full-time in the office, located in Northern Sydney
- Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 plus super
The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of exhibition and event installations from planning through to on-site execution. Acting as the key client representative on-site, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of exhibition and event installation projects.
- Coordinate project schedules, labour, contractors, transport and site logistics.
- Lead on-site installation and dismantle crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions.
- Ensure all Work Health & Safety requirements are met and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor project budgets, labour utilisation and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, contractor timesheets and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with internal production, design and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and hands-on Project Manager with experience delivering exhibitions and events projects. You will be confident managing multiple stakeholders, leading teams on-site and solving problems under pressure.
- Previous experience managing exhibition, event, construction or fit-out projects.
- Strong project planning and organisational skills.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and on-site crews.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of Work Health & Safety practices within live event or construction environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during event installations.
- Current driver's licence.
