The Company:

This brilliant boutique events and marketing agency works with a multitude of clients from various industries including I.T, government, retail, as well as several other corporate industries. They are a small, Sydney-based award-winning agency with a dedication to creativity, innovation and achieving business results. They are looking for an Events & Marketing Coordinator to join their team.

Position Terms:
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Fully remote, working from the Sydney area
  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super
The Role:

Working closely with the Events & Marketing Managers, this role is key to the planning, marketing and execution of client events. The Events & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing event planning, supplier/venue relationships and onsite event management, ensuring a seamless event that meets client objectives. The role is also responsible for coordinating all communications relating to client events including execution of event marcom (e.g. electronic invitations, landing pages, registration sites, event collateral).

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Reporting to and working closely with the Events & Marketing Managers to coordinate and deliver end-to-end client events and projects from concept through to execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure all client objectives, timelines and deliverables are achieved.
  • Manage supplier/venue relationships and onsite event management, ensuring a seamless event that meets client objectives.
  • Coordinating communications relating to client events including execution of event marcom (e.g. electronic invitations, landing pages, registration sites, event collateral)
  • Complete event reporting, WIP notes and administrative documentation in line with company processes.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an Events Agency on a range of client events. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Experience working remotely and/or hybridly within an events environment is ideal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use basic formulas, manage spreadsheets and analyse event-related data.
  • The ability to work successfully independently as well as with a team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude, with a willingness to support the wider team wherever required.
  • Cvent experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work completely remotely from the Sydney area.
  • Ability to travel interstate for event delivery when required.
