A corporate business based in Melbourne CBD is looking for an Events Specialist to join their team. This company works within the financial space and have a sensational reputation across the industry. This company employs over 170 staff across Australia, with 90 in the team in Melbourne.

The Role:
The primary purpose of the Events Specialist is to successfully plan, deliver and execute an integrated Events program. Working in conjunction with the Event Manager, this role will contribute to the development of events across multiple platforms and formats, on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Plan, market and execute the learning and development digital and face to face events in collaboration with the Events Manager and Strategic Partnerships Manager meet the needs of the business, key stakeholders and our members.
- Manage and reconcile event budgets.
- Execute communication to members and partners pertaining to the learning and development events program.
- Perform event marketing activities including but not limited to; EDM creation and distribution, registration site development and website creation.
- Ensure all sponsorship entitlement are delivered to partners.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with current partners, members, and internal stakeholders.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate with have demonstrated experience working within the events industry, ideally within a corporate environment. Previous experience managing stakeholders and clients is essential for this role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver effective results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours when required.
- Ability to travel interstate for event delivery.
