The Company:

This Company is one of Australia's leading event suppliers. They provide world-class event and exhibition solutions for an incredibly diverse range of clients. They place a strong emphasis on client service, creative design, and quality, and are looking for a new Project Manager to join their Sydney team.

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Working 5 days a week in the office
  • Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super
  • Prior experience working on custom stand projects in the exhibition industry is essential for this role.
The Role:

The Project Manager will report to the Operations Director and be responsible for producing bespoke custom stand projects, including strategic planning, quoting, and managing projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of custom exhibition stand projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to prepare detailed cost worksheets and quotations.
  • Develop strategic project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with client requirements and budget constraints.
  • Manage on-site project execution, including supervision, client liaison, and successful handover.
  • Coordinate with internal production teams and external suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and elevations.
  • Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and fabrication processes to inform project decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes for seamless execution across all project phases.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, suppliers and clients.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have prior experience working on custom stand projects in the exhibition industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and relationship building are key to this role.
  • The ability to read and understand plans and elevations.
  • An understanding of materials, manufacture and fabrication processes.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow our processes to ensure seamless execution across all facets of a project.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to easily multitask and work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outside of office hours for events when required.
  • Ability to travel interstate when required.
  • Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
