The Company:

An exciting boutique creative events agency in Sydney who have some sensational clients on retainers that they have been working with for many years is looking for a contract or freelance Event Producer to join their team for a 6 or 7 month contract. The Agency has a great reputation in the space and works on live events ranging from roadshows, incentives and gala dinners to name a few. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Contract Role for 6 or 7 months depending on start date
  • Starting 5 days in office and then eventually 1-2 days from home 
  • Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super pro rata for contract period 
  • Weekend and outside of hours work required for events
The Role:

The Event Producer role is core to bringing the event to life. You will be responsible for all aspects of planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of live special events. We are looking for a candidate that has solid experience working in an event agency environment. We need a confident collaborator, versed in the fast pace, sometimes challenging and always exciting environment that the event landscape brings.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Communicating, maintaining & developing client relationships & relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Management and delivery of concurrent projects end to end - from initial brief through to delivery
  • Ability to brief in every area of a project including creative, entertainment, scripting, signage, print, technical, content, custom elements etc 
  • Contribute to the development of creative solutions & ideas
  • Produce all project management documentation including venue options, event manual, schedules, timelines, budgets, agendas and minutes, WHS documentation, and post-event reports
  • Delivering events on time, and within budget
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Ensuring insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to
  • Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings
  • Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly
  • Providing leadership, motivation and direction when onsite
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Obtain supplier quotes and develop budgets including the day-to-day management of costs & communicating fluctuations
  • Ensure accurate reporting of financials within the required timeframe
