They are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join their team to work on their large scale end-to-end events.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • Full time in office in Perth 
  • Salary: $80,000-$100,000 plus super
The Role:

The Event Manager will report to the Directors and will work closely with the Operations and Warehouse Manager. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning and executing events from initial brief to final activation, on time and on budget. Also responsible for working with clients to plan and execute other events through general enquiries.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Writing and developing tenders and client proposals to bring in new business
  • Planning and executing events from initial brief to final activation
  • Mentoring the other event managers and casual staff
  • Establishing and developing strong client relationships
  • Development of event management plans, risk management plans and compliance documentation, and event contingency plans
  • Maintaining effective event budget tracking, assisting with new business propositions, and identifying potential business opportunities
  • Contributing to overall idea generation
  • Coordinate and manage any third-party event suppliers and stakeholders
  • Liaise with Operations Team for specific event requirements
  • Attend event site pre and during set up as required by client or directors
  • Follow up with clients post event to ensure client expectations are met
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience working within an Event Supplier and have knowledge of event hire processes and requirements. The candidate will ideally have experience working on end-to-end Outdoor events, as well as have experience in writing proposals and pitches for tenders.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and CAD is highly regarded
  • Confidence to build strong client relationships
  • Strong organisation, project management and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • Supervisory and team leadership skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to lead client meetings
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain effective event budget tracking, assisting with new business propositions, and identifying potential business opportunities
  • High standards of work quality and attention to detail
  • Experience preparing and writing detailed client proposals and tenders
