The Company:

This exciting full-service Events and Conference Agency thrives on providing creative solutions and delivery of end to end experiences locally and internationally. They have a diverse client base ranging from pharma to IT to financial to corporate and everything in between. They are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join their growing team.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • 2-3 days in office located in North Sydney, WFH available remaining days
  • Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:

The Event Manager role will report to the Head of Operations. The Event Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of event programs for a variety of clients. This role will also be responsible for working on multiple projects simultaneously. 

Key Responsibilities include;
  • The ability to ‘hit the ground running’ managing end-to-end event programs
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Website builds
  • Registration platforms – preferably EventsAir and Aventri experience
  • Hotel/Venue contract negotiations
  • Accommodation attrition
  • Financial management
  • Powerpoint proposals
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with client leadership teams
  • Lead partner agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities
  • Oversee and manage third party agencies partnering with the Agency on each project
  • Produce event timelines and event briefs and execute project deliverables to the existing timeline
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within an Events Agency as a Senior Event Coordinator or Event Manager. Experience managing events for clients in pharma/IT/financial/corporate is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing large budgets
  • Experience managing all aspects of a large scale event (min. 500 pax)
  • Hands on Event Manager, both pre-event and onsite
  • Excel in event logistics and event marketing strategies
  • Knowledge on registration platforms and data management
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • An understanding of Event Production
  • Ability to form and maintain event supplier relationships
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an understanding of social media
  • Ability to work from the office 2-3 days a week in North Sydney
  • Ability to travel for events when required, both domestically and internationally
