The Company:
This exciting full-service Events and Conference Agency thrives on providing creative solutions and delivery of end to end experiences locally and internationally. They have a diverse client base and are looking for an experienced Event Executive to join their growing team.
Position Terms: - Full-Time Permanent Role
- 3 days in office located in North Sydney, WFH available remaining days
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:
The Event Executive will report into the Senior Operations Manager. The Event Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end management of smaller event programs for a variety of clients as well as working on larger events with Event Managers within the team. This role will also be responsible for working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Ability to manage all aspects of medium scale events
- Hands on working with the rest of the team and being on site for events and bump in and out
- Ability to manage event logistics and event marketing strategies
- Budget management and working with the team to ensure all budget requirements are met
- Registration management with experience using major events CRMs and ability to build event websites
- Develop and manage strong relationships with clients to ensure all event objectives are met
- Oversee and manage third party agencies partnering with the Agency on each project
- Produce event timelines and event briefs and execute project deliverables to the existing timeline
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an Events Agency as an Event Coordinator or Senior Events Assistant. Experience handling registrations and experience using CRMs systems for events like EventsAIR, CVent or Aventri essential for this role.
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Experience managing event budgets
- Knowledge on registration platforms and data management
- Ability to form and maintain event supplier relationships
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an understanding of social media
- Ability to work from the office 3 days a week in North Sydney
- Ability to travel for events when required, both domestically and internationally
