The Company:
This fantastic events agency are leaders in organising world-class events for a variety of high-profile clients. They specialise in delivering in-person and virtual events, meetings and conferences across Australia. They are looking for an Event Coordinator to join their Conference Team.
Position Terms: - Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working Tues-Thurs in the office
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super
- EventsAIR experience is essential
The Role:
The Event Coordinator role will be responsible for coordinating conferences for clients alongside an Event Manager or Event Director. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of operational and administrative tasks supporting the day-to-day planning and delivery of events.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Set up events in EventsAIR, ensuring accuracy in registration details and event listings.
- Oversee attendee registrations, including confirmations, follow-ups, and database management.
- Prepare event collateral such as attendee lists and name badges.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Liaise with venues, speakers, sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
- Deliver events on-site to ensure seamless attendee experience and professional delivery.
- Assist with preparing post-event reports.
- Manage post-event administrative tasks, including thank-you letters and attendee follow-ups.
- Maintain and update event pages and CRM records to ensure accurate data management.
- Provide administrative support to the Event Manager or Event Director.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience working as an Event Assistant or Event Coordinator within an Events Agency, PCO or Association. Strong administration and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Have a strong understanding of association conferences and experience in the creation and management of conferences within a PCO agency or an association.
- Are self-motivated and able to demonstrate a high level of individual initiative, attention to detail and prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Have intermediate level experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Have experience using EventsAir or similar software.
- Demonstrate exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage and establish rapport with people at all levels.
- Are able to work both in a team and autonomously as required.
- Possess a creative, innovative, and curious mind that is passionate about pushing beyond the ordinary.
- Have an ambition towards career growth and are looking to take the next step in your event management career.
- Ability to work from the office 3 days a week.
- Ability to travel interstate for event delivery when required.
