The Company:

This new player in the B2B events agency space has a great start up global team. They focus on round tables and smaller events for the tech sector and are currently looking to expand their team in Australia. With lots of opportunity for growth, they are looking for a senior delegate sales team member to join their team. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time, Permanent Role
  • Working 4 days in the office, 1 from home
  • Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 plus super plus commission/bonus
The Role:

The Delegate Acquisition Manager will be responsible for driving delegate ticket sales across a portfolio of high-profile industry events and round tables. They are looking for a senior level candidate who can develop the strategy for these events from the ground up. 

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Set the delegate strategy for the team in Australia 
  • Sell delegate passes across a portfolio of events via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Build relationships with C-level executives, senior managers, and decision-makers across target industries.
  • Research, identify, and qualify potential senior delegates to ensure the right fit for each event.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and production teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Accurately track all sales activity, pipeline, and conversions in CRM.
  • Represent the Agency as a trusted industry partner, ensuring delegates have a seamless experience from registration to attendance.
  • Eventually manage a team of delegate sales executives and ensure great delivery for round tables and other events 
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a senior delegate sales role, ideally within the events industry with some knowledge of the tech space. The candidate will be self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. 
  • Confident communicator with strong phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior executives and influencing decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • A positive, proactive, and resilient mindset.
  • Confident and articulate negotiation, relationship and networking skills.
  • Ability to travel for events and meetings when required.
  • Ability to work from the office 4 days a week.
