The Company:

This brilliant B2B Events Agency are leaders in creating, managing, and delivering world-class, topical and informational conferences, seminars and masterclasses. They are looking for a Conference Producer to join their Production team to research and develop a range of events.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role working 3-4 days a week in the office.
  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus super
The Role:

The Conference Producer will be responsible for the research and development of a range of events, including conferences, masterclasses and seminars. This role will conduct telephone research with primary stakeholders to develop event agendas, as well as work collaboratively as part of a project team to manage the successful of each event.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Conduct in-depth phone-based research with industry leaders, experts and relevant sector stakeholders to identify industry challenges and develop an event agenda.
  • Secure speakers and/or facilitators identified through research for the event.
  • Liaise with speakers and/or facilitators to agree and confirm session outlines to reflect the key topics and themes of the event agenda.
  • Negotiate, manage and confirm speaker/facilitator fees to minimise costs.
  • Manage time effectively to deliver a high quality event within the agreed event timeline.
  • Create and write the agenda and supporting content for each event brochure and website based on research conducted.
  • Support the Marketing team with the creation and writing of EDMs and content for promotional purposes.
  • Oversee the design and development of brochures and other content in collaboration with the Marketing team, to enable the conference to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Write and run briefings to educate the Marketing and Sales team on each event produced.
  • Liaise with the Event Delivery team on any speaker or program logistics to support the smooth delivery and execution of the event.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure the commercial success of each event while in market.
  • Track the progress of events in the market and proactively resolve any issues or challenges to maximise the success of the event
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have exceptional research and analytical skills, ideally with experience working within the events industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders is essential for this role.
  • Prior experience conducting research or demonstrated ability to research, understand and analyse current affairs.
  • Prior experience in creating and delivering high quality copy or written work.
  • Experience in the conference industry or a fast paced, high performance culture highly advantageous.
  • Ability to build rapport, negotiate, influence and persuade key decision makers to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Self starting individual with a proactive attitude and a passion for research.
  • Customer centric approach to problem solving.
  • Exhibits the ability to provide knowledge in a practical and commercial manner.
  • Ability to work from the office 3-4 days a week.
