Position Terms: - Full-Time Permanent Role
- Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 from home
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 plus super plus bonus
The Role: The Conference Content Producer will be responsible for researching and developing engaging conference programs and professional education content for a senior corporate audience. Working closely with senior executives, industry leaders, speakers and internal stakeholders, the Conference Content Producer will help create high-quality programs that encourage meaningful discussion, knowledge sharing and professional learning.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Research current and emerging issues affecting the organisation’s target industries.
- Translate research findings into relevant and thought-provoking conference programs.
- Develop conference themes, session concepts, discussion topics and content frameworks.
- Identify and engage senior executives, industry leaders, speakers and subject-matter experts.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with speakers, clients and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research interviews and stakeholder discussions to understand current industry challenges and priorities.
- Prepare speaker briefs, session summaries and supporting conference materials.
- Develop clear, persuasive and accurate written content for event programs and marketing communications.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, client engagement and event delivery teams.
- Manage multiple content workstreams, deadlines and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate agenda changes and respond quickly to speaker cancellations or program gaps.
- Identify new content opportunities and contribute ideas for future conferences and events.
- Support the onsite delivery of conferences and ensure speakers are briefed and sessions run effectively.
- Review audience feedback and event performance to improve future conference programs.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience in conference production, research, editorial, journalism, communications or content development. This role will suit a naturally curious and commercially minded professional who enjoys researching emerging industry issues, identifying relevant trends and transforming complex information into compelling conference themes, sessions and discussions. You will be confident undertaking detailed research, identifying important industry issues and communicating with senior stakeholders.
