They are looking for a Client Manager to join their team to manage a portfolio of great events & exhibitions. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • 3 days working in the office, 2 WFH
The Role:

The Client Manager will report to the Sales Manager and sit in the Sales Department. The aim of the Sales Function is to engage and connect with the markets the Agency serve by offering compelling and commercial media and marketing solutions. These solutions can range from face-to-face industry events, trade shows, virtual events, digital solutions, and publications. The Client Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, exhibitors and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Work with the Sales Manager to provide innovative and creative solutions to all exhibitors
  • Proactively develop and seek new business opportunities relating to the show product and showcase
  • Develop an in depth understanding of the industry, the trends and market forces and what drives return for customers
  • Grow the client base by hunting for new business
  • Build, maintain and maximise existing customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on Salesforce
  • Establish and achieve set call rates per day
  • Help in developing an on-site sales strategy and take an active lead on customer liaisons
  • Assist to create and execute sales networking events both in and out of shows
  • Assist to prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual sales strategies
  • Provide on-site support at events, including set-up and exhibitor management
  • Achieve set financial target for exhibition space sales
  • Achieve set financial target for sponsorship sales
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a background in sales, ideally in the exhibition, media and/or advertising space. The candidate will have a consultative solutions sales approach and will be comfortable with telephone sales, face-to-face meetings, and securing new business as well as maintaining existing relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sales background
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Ability to secure new business and maintain existing relationships to achieve repeat business
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of database management (Salesforce preferable, but not essential)
  • Comfortable interacting via social channels, building network and interacting with the likes of LinkedIn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work semi-autonomous with direction
  • Time management, attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential
  • Passionate about selling and the exhibition/event industry
  • Ability to travel interstate and work irregular hours for events when required
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week
