From high-profile sporting events and brand activations to luxury dining and weddings, to exhibitions, this fantastic events supplier is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Exhibitions team.

The Role:
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for the Suppliers Exhibition division. This is a dynamic, client-focused role responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Working closely with internal teams, the BDM ensures a seamless client journey from initial enquiry through to event delivery.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with exhibition and print clients, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the exhibitions and print market across corporate, government, and brand sectors.
- Conduct client briefings, site visits, and presentations.
- Identify opportunities to grow account value through upselling, repeat business, and referrals, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for the exhibitions and print segment, aligned with the company’s revenue and growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system.
- Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and industry trends to inform sales strategy and identify emerging opportunities in the exhibitions and print space.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a business development, sales, or account management role within exhibitions, events, or a related industry. A demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with strong skills in pipeline management and lead conversion is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a high volume of enquiries and concurrent projects without compromising quality or responsiveness.
- Strong understanding of the exhibitions industry, including knowledge of production processes, materials, and client requirements.
- Customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and building lasting commercial relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working collaboratively with design, production, and operations teams to deliver complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Ability to work from the office near Pagewood.
