The Company:

This brilliant events supplier are experts in all things live events, AV, virtual events, & broadcasting. With a well-rounded and passionate team, they combine their technical knowledge with their creativity to bring events to life. They are looking for an AV Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Position Terms:
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Working full-time in the office
  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 plus super (depending on experience)
The Role:

The AV Project Manager will lead the end-to-end management of AV projects, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resourcing. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during the events lifecycle, the AV Project Manager will translate client needs into technical solutions to ensure successful event delivery.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Develop project timelines, production schedules, run sheets, and event documentation.

  • Coordinate pre-production tasks such as site inspections, technical CAD drawings, risk assessments, and logistics planning.
  • Ensure all equipment, crew, and transport are organised and confirmed ahead of deadlines with the Operations department.
  • Oversee onsite execution, including load-ins, builds, rehearsals, live operation.
  • Provide accurate quotes, updates, and reporting while managing scope changes professionally.
  • Work with technical leads to design AV solutions using audio, lighting, video, and LED systems.
  • Review equipment lists, technical drawings, and event briefs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have strong audio visual and project management skills within the live events industry. Strong client management, communication, and technical management skills are essential for this role.
  • Exceptional client management skills with the ability to translate client needs into technical solutions, balancing creative vision with practical feasibility.
  • Excellent event project management experience and skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong budget management and financial acumen skills.
  • Strong technical AV knowledge is essential.
  • Exposure to programs such CAD or Vectorworks is highly desirable.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
  • Ability to travel for event delivery when required.
