The Company:

This leading live events and production company delivers exceptional audio visual solutions for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, live productions and special events. With a reputation for technical excellence and outstanding customer service, they are looking for an experienced Audio Technician to join their growing team.

Position Terms:

• Permanent, full-time role
• Salary: $80k-$100k plus super

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Audio Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio solutions across a wide variety of live events. Working both independently and as part of a production team, you'll ensure audio systems are prepared, installed, operated and packed down safely while providing an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities include;

• Set up, operate and pack down professional audio systems for live events
• Mix live audio for conferences, corporate events and special events
• Configure wireless microphone and RF systems
• Troubleshoot audio issues during live events
• Read and interpret technical plans and event documentation
• Assist with warehouse preparation and equipment maintenance
• Lead small to medium production crews when required
• Liaise with clients and project managers on-site
• Maintain high safety standards and company presentation

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience working as an Audio Technician within the events industry. Strong knowledge of professional audio equipment and signal flow is essential for this role.

• Experience operating digital mixing consoles
• Excellent troubleshooting skills under pressure
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card
• Forklift, EWP or MR/HR Licence highly regarded
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
• Ability to travel for event delivery when required
