                        The Company:This leading events supplier are a dynamic live‐events production company delivering high‐quality shows across corporate events, festivals, and other live environments. Priding themselves on innovation, reliability and creating outstanding audience experiences, they are looking for an Audio Technician to join their Perth-based team. 
Position Terms:
  - Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working full-time in the office/on-site, including regional locations
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 plus super (depending on experience)
The Role:
 The Audio Technician will design, prepare, install and operate professional sound systems for a wide range of live-event environments. This role ensures that audio contributes effectively to the overall production vision, meets technical standards, delivers on time and under pressure, and enhances client satisfaction and audience experience.
Key Responsibilities include; 
 - Operate industry-standard audio consoles and deliver high-quality audio mixing for live events.
- Design audio systems in collaboration with the production/audio designer, considering venue acoustics, show requirements, budget and client brief.
- Prepare and configure audio equipment, including RF systems, networking, digital stage boxes, and playback systems.
- Install and set up PA systems, microphones, monitors, cabling, and control systems for live events.
- Operate FOH and/or monitor positions during shows, troubleshoot issues in real time, and coordinate with lighting, vision and staging teams.
- Assist in other AV disciplines (lighting, vision, staging) when required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Maintain audio inventory: servicing, fault-finding, cleaning, updating equipment logs and assisting in procurement.
- Ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards, manual handling procedures, and company WHS policies.
- Provide excellent client-facing service: liaise with clients, communicate clearly, and represent the company professionally onsite.
- Work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines in dynamic live-event environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through training, innovation, and sustainable work practices.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in audio operation, setup and system design for live events. Hands-on expertise with professional mixing consoles as well as a strong understanding of signal flow, RF management, Dante/AVB networking, and live audio system configuration is essential for this role. 
 - Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing show conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client‐facing skills.
- EWP licence or other relevant certification is desirable
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in achieving high-quality production outcomes.
- Experience using professional mixing consoles including DiGiCo, Midas, Yamaha, Avid, or similar is essential.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
- Experience in other AV disciplines (lighting, vision, staging) is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in the office/on-site full-time.
- Ability to travel for event delivery when required.
