The Company:
This fabulous boutique events agency is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and events for their clients. As a leading boutique events agency, they specialise in producing high-end events for high profile clients. They are looking for an Associate Producer to join their team.
Position Terms: - Full-Time Permanent Role, hybrid working available
- Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 plus super depending on experience
- Occasional weekend and outside of hours work required for events
The Role:
The Associate Producer is a key member of the production team and works alongside other team members to plan and deliver experiences for their clients and their stakeholder. The Associate Producer will be responsible for end-to-end event management, working independently on smaller projects, and supporting senior producers on larger, more complex events.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Attend internal and customer briefings and/or creative ideation sessions regarding specific projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and production schedules to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives, providing creative input and logistical support.
- Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements align with the client's expectations.
- Support senior producers with administrative tasks, such as creating proposals, contracts, and production documents.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the event planning process.
- Preparation of risk assessments.
- Attend and report at client WIP meetings.
- Complete project reconciliations.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Production Coordinator or Associate Producer within an Events Agency. Exceptional time management and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines is required for this role.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for events when required
