The Company:
This Events Supplier manages event, exhibition equipment and infrastructure for events right across Australia. With offices across the country, they are looking for an Account Manager to join their Sydney team.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working full-time in the office, located in Western Sydney
- Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients while driving new business opportunities across the events and exhibitions sector. You will oversee projects from initial enquiry through to successful delivery, working closely with internal production and operations teams to ensure exceptional client experiences.
This is a client-facing role that combines account management, sales and event delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships while delivering outstanding events.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through industry networking, referrals, existing contacts and monitoring upcoming tenders and projects.
- Achieve individual sales targets through proactive account management and business development activities.
- Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell services across the business, collaborating with specialist teams where appropriate.
- Conduct client meetings and site inspections to understand event requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
- Prepare detailed event proposals, quotations, floor plans, site maps and operational documentation.
- Coordinate event schedules, ensuring all critical timelines and stakeholders are communicated effectively.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and contractors to ensure successful event delivery.
- Ensure sub-hired equipment and external suppliers are booked within required timeframes.
- Provide clients with all required compliance and legal documentation.
- Oversee event budgets, monitor project profitability and ensure accurate and timely invoicing following event completion.
- Support on-site event delivery where required, ensuring a seamless client experience from concept through to completion.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an Account Management, Business Development or Senior Account Coordination role within the events industry. You will be commercially minded, highly organised and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience within event production, exhibition services or AV is essential.

- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week
