The Company:
This brilliant Events Supplier specialises in Bespoke Custom Designed Stands and Installations for businesses. They are an operation who love bringing exhibitions, brand activations, installations, and custom stand builds to life. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their Gold Coast based team on a permanent basis.
Position Terms:
- Permanent full-time role
- Working full-time in office, located on the Gold Coast
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super plus bonus (depending on experience)
The Role:
The Account Manager will report into the Sales Manager and be responsible for managing client relationships, taking in briefs and also overseeing sales and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Achieve sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.
- Oversee client projects from initiaion to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards and ensuring overall job profitability.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, reports, and insights on project progress and outcomes.
- Gather client feedback and work with internal to improve products, services, and processes.
- Monitor account financials, including budgeting, billing and invoicing processes.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
- Work closely with various internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure client needs are met.
- Stay informed about company services and offerings and educate clients on their features and benefits.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process to enhance overall account management practices.
- Implement strategies and activities aimed at retaining clients and building long term loyalty.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a passion for events, with a sales and/or account management background (or a passion and drive for sales/account coordination). Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships is essential for this role.
- Proven Account Management or Business Development experience essential for this role.
- Excellent administration and attention to detail skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of business basics.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritising ability.
- Demonstrated understanding of sales techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
- Ability to travel for events when required.
- Ability to work outside of business hours and weekends for event delivery when required.
