The Company:
This Events Supplier manages event, exhibition equipment and infrastructure for events right across Australia. With offices across the country, they are looking for an Account Coordinator to join their Sydney team.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time Permanent Role
- Working full-time in the office, located in Western Sydney
- Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:
The Account Coordinator will provide production and sales support to the Account Management team as well as manage existing events and client relationships. The Account Coordinator will initiate sales and design delivery within events and exhibitions while meeting budgeted sales targets.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Source new clients through industry networking, established contacts and maintaining an awareness of upcoming bids and tenders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Up-sell and cross-sell all parts of the business. Involve staff from other divisions when necessary to help with clients requirements.
- Attend site inspections. Incorporate Sales Staff from other divisions best suited to the client’s requirements.
- Prepare floor plans and detailed drawings including an operations schedule information sheet and / or site map with a diagram.
- Prepare and distribute a comprehensive schedule incorporating all critical timings and people involved.
- Ensure all sub-hired equipment is ordered on a timely basis.
- Provide organisers with necessary legal documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of the event after completion, including any changes/additions during the event. Process payment for balance owing.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience working within the events and exhibition industry, ideally within a sales or account coordination role. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential for this role.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a larger team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel occasionally travel interstate for events when required.
- Ability to work outside of normal hours and weekends for events when required.
- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week
