The Company:


A brilliant B2B Conference and Exhibition Organiser based in Melbourne are looking for a new Marketing Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for marketing around 10-12 conference and exhibition events every year. This company is a leader in their field and have a great larger team that creates a supportive and event driven environment. 
 
The Role:

The Marketing Manager role reports into the Head of Marketing for the company. This role will be responsible for print, digital, social media and edm campaigns for marketing the events. Working across both conference and exhibition events, this will be a challenging and busy role and works within a motivated and exciting team. 

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Managing all aspects of print and online media for the yearly events 
  • Develop, implement, and track targeted end to end marketing campaigns for multiple events 
  • Be proficient in copywriting for edms, press releases and websites
  • Be highly skilled in developing creative briefs and marketing collateral
  • Work closely with all the internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain event websites 
  • Handling the social media accounts for each of the events   
  • Oversee brochure, flyer, website design, print ads
  • PR and press releases
  • Managing the advertising budget and requirements for the events 
  • Managing Hubspot Marketing CRM system and requirements
The Candidate: 

With a passion for marketing and social media, you will have worked within events before and have a marketing background. Experience with Hubspot seen as a bonus for this role, but systems and CRM experience previously is required.  
  • Experience in marketing and social media within events 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print and online media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Hubspot and/or Wordpress preferred 
  • Experience in developing and managing professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment 
  • Experience in graphic design preferred but not essential 
  • Disciplined time management and project management skills are essential
  • Outstanding copy writing ability
