The Company:

This national association is dedicated to the development and growth of their members and the industry in which they represent. With a large membership base and a commitment to educating and improving their industry, they are seeking an Events, Marketing & Communication Coordinator to join their team to develop and deliver marketing & communication campaigns to support the events program at the association.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role, hybrid working
  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:

The Events, Marketing & Communications Coordinator will report to the Event Director and will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality marketing & communications programs in support of the associations annual calendar of events. The Events, Marketing & Communications Coordinator role is crucial for driving sponsorship sales, delegate registrations, and keeping members informed of upcoming events.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Develop all content in support of the marketing & communications program, including but not limited to written, photographic and video content for use across social channels, EDMs, and websites
  • Develop and execute event marketing plans and strategies
  • Create artwork for event promotions and collateral
  • Create and edit high quality copy and event descriptions
  • Provide high quality and captivating copy for event websites
  • Liaise with external printers, designers, photographers and other relevant providers as required 
  • Track and report on digital elements, analytics and performance 
  • Work within brand guidelines to produce new marketing collateral 
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Events Team, including on the ground events support
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a marketing & communications role within an events environment. An understanding of event management is crucial for this role. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills with an ability to liaise at all levels
  • High level of administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Experience with InDesign/Canva or similar platform 
  • Writing for social media platforms, including LinkedIn 
  • Experience with Constant Contact/MailChimp/Digital Send or similar platform 
  • Self-motivated and able to meet targets
  • A flexible and adaptable work style
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management
