The Company:

An events agency based in North Sydney are looking for an Events Manager to join their team permanently.  The company puts together sensational conferences, summits and events and have a great core team that is growing at this time. 

The Role:

The Events Manager role will report into the Events Director and be responsible for managing end to end events. The role will manage B2B conferences, summits and events for the team. Taking a portfolio of events that the team organises and managing them from start to finish, this role will be fast paced and requires a great attention to detail. 

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Working with the Events Director to oversee the yearly events strategy 
  • Delivery of all events from end to end including conferences and summits 
  • Registration management of the events and reporting of this to the wider team 
  • Key stakeholder communications management 
  • Budget and project management for all events
  • Producing timelines, run sheets, contracts etc
  • Managing suppliers and ensuring all contracts are in place 
  • Full logistics and operations management
  • Oversee all risk management and OH&S compliance at events
  • Overseeing a team of contractors and suppliers onsite 
The Candidate: 

With experience working as an Events Manager and highly skilled in registrations systems will see you excel in this role. You will have experience managing end to end conferences and summits and have brilliant CRM system experience. While OnAIR experience isn't required in this role, knowledge of it will be seen as a positive. 
  • Experience and an Events Manager managing conferences and summits 
  • EventsAIR experience is a positive for this role, but role will require experience with a registration events system 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
  • Sound budget management experience 
  • Sound judgement and decision making
