The Company:

A leading National Chamber who have their main office in Sydney but have team members in each State are looking for an Events Coordinator to join their team in Western Australia. The Chamber garners worldwide recognition for the services it provides to its community in Australia and Internationally. 

The Role:

The Events Coordinator reports into the National Events Manager but also works with the entire team within the Chamber. This role is a full time permanent position. 

This role will be responsible for managing a vibrant annual events programme including a range of high quality in-person, hybrid and virtual business events. Including a series of B2B luncheons Nationally, organising an annual awards gala, roundtable events, conferences and speaker engagement events. 

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Setting up events on iMIS ( the Chambers CRM and events system).
  • Registration management and attendee communication
  • Preparation of event collateral and materials including badges, PowerPoint decks, event brochures, attendee lists, runsheets, scripts
  • Website/event site management and design
  • Sponsor/partner liaison
  • Onsite delivery of event
  • Post event wrap up and financial reconciliation
  • Venue liaison
  • Financial reporting – ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and event budgets are not exceeded
  • Speaker management
  • Creation of regular marketing (edms) emails and plans that drive traffic to the website and encourage registrations
  • invoicing, and payment processing for attendees
  • Social media posts (where applicable)
  • Thank you letters to speakers and other correspondence
  • Reporting as required on events 
  • Creating table and seating plans
The Candidate: 

Your will be an Events Coordinator looking for a challenging new role. You will have experience working for a Chamber, Association, corporate, NFP or PCO agency. With experience managing registrations, supplier liaison and delivery of events onsite. 
  • Events Coordination experience within a Chamber, Association, NFP or PCO Agency seen as a positive 
  • IMIS and Adobe InDesign experience seen as a positive 
  • Ability to travel as you will be managing events in WA and SA 
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
  • Sound budget management experience 
  • Sound judgement and decision making
