The Company:

A great Association based in Sydney CBD are looking for a new Events Coordinator to join their team for a 6 month contract. This Association have a great membership base and this role works in a team of 4 staff. 

The Role:

The Events Coordinator reports into the National Events Manager and in this role is responsible for working with the team of 4 staff and will assist the Association during a busy period. 
 
Key responsibilities will include;
  • Building and managing virtual event platforms 
  • Managing registrations for events using EventsAIR
  • Attendee management 
  • Working with app build and maintenance - through EventsAIR system 
  • Speaker management and communication 
  • Working with State or National committees for event programming and collaboration
  • Working with the events staff to develop timelines and project plans for each of the events 
  • Assisting with the delivery of all the event logistics and project timelines
  • Assisting with client relationship management and communications
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Administration and reporting
  • Producing critical paths, timelines, run sheets
  • Sourcing suppliers and handling contracts
  • Manage on site staff and suppliers
  • Working with sponsors to ensure congoing partnerships
The Candidate: 

Association or PCO events experience is a must for this role, as well as experience with EventsAIR and OnAIR preferred. With a passion for events we are looking for someone who can handle delegate enquiries with ease as well as speakers requirements and logistics. 
  • EventsAIR experience 
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside of core hours
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Sound budget management experience
  • Sound judgement and decision making
  • Experience in a membership association is preferred
