The Company:


A sensational agency based in Sydney that we have been working with over a number of years, have a new Events Manager - Exhibitions contract role working on one of their major client accounts. This agency have clients in the financial, creative, luxury and tech space and really proud themselves on creative events that produce wow factors!  
  
The Role:

The Events Manager - Exhibitions contract role reports into the Senior Events Manager and will be responsible for handling a major exhibition for one of their key client events for this year. Working with their key client in the financial sector, this role will handle a major exhibition event for this client happening in 2022. 

Key responsibilities will include;
  • The ability to hit the ground running managing end to end event programs  
  • Taking complete responsibility for all aspects under your remit from handover to post event deliverables and reporting
  • An understanding of Exhibition builds and being able to bring in suppliers as required, along with developing proposals to support the program
  • Strong stakeholder and engagement experience
  • Manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously 
  • Work with key stakeholders and suppliers to oversee digital builds – website and APP builds and handling of all requirements of this 
  • Understand the registration process and its platforms – preferrable EventsAir – to be manage all sponsor registrations alongside the registration team
  • Develop event briefs, exhibition manual and run sheets
  • Venue management
  • Financial and budget management of the designated event deliverables
  • This role will be required to attend the client event which involves travel, weekend working and overnight stays during the September to October 2022 period 
The Candidate: 

With experience managing exhibitions, handling exhibitor questions, developing exhibitor manuals and preferably experience working within an events agency this role will be a great fit for you. 
  • Extensive experience as an Events Manager, with experience managing exhibitions 
  • Exceptional client and supplier relationship management skills
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Must love events and have a strong passion for events culture
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
  • Sound budget management experience 
  • Sound judgement and decision making
