The Company:


This lovely boutique agency have recently been growing from strength to strength and increasing in size. Based in Carringbah area, they have a current team of 4 staff and have recently won some big proposals against some of the bigger agencies in events and hence are now needing more team members. 

The Role:

The Events Manager role will report into the Directors of the business and will be responsible for managing clients and events that range in size and location. The role will manage events run throughout Australia and will work on conferences, incentives, exhibitions and team building events. 
 
Key responsibilities will include;
  • Managing client relationships and the client brief from start to finish
  • Manage client budgets, client and speaker requirements, event timelines, run sheets, briefings, AV, exhibition requirements, sourcing and securing suppliers and services
  • Taking complete responsibility for all aspects of event from the handover to post event deliverables and reporting 
  • Ensure client retention whilst maintaining excellent client relationships and a high level of professionalism 
  • Providing clear, concise and timely updates on event timelines and budgets to both the executive team and the client 
  • Having a firm grasp on competitor events in the market and providing actionable insights on how we can improve our current portfolio of events
  • Proactively escalating event insights and recommendations
The Candidate: 

The ideal background would be someone currently working within a similar role within an event agency and has experience using EventsAIR. Candidates with exhibition experience will be seen as a positive as well. 
  • Extensive experience as an Events Manager
  • Experience managing conferences, incentives, exhibitions and team building events 
  • EventsAIR and registration experience 
  • Exceptional client and supplier relationship management skills
  • Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Must love events and have a strong passion for events culture
  • Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
  • Be proactive and able to make decisions
  • Sound budget management experience 
  • Sound judgement and decision making
