The Company:
This innovative events agency specialises in creating unforgettable experiences for a diverse range of clients. With a proven track record of delivering exceptional events, they pride themselves on their creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to exceeding client expectations. They are looking for an Event Director to join their growing team. 

Position Terms:
  • Permanent Full-Time role, hybrid working
  • Salary $100,000 - $110,000 plus super depending on experience
  • Occasional interstate travel required for events
The Role:
The Event Director will be responsible for the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of a wide range of events for various clients. The Event Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the event lifecycle, from initial client consultations to on-site delivery, ensuring seamless coordination and flawless execution every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities include;
  • Lead the development of creative event concepts that align with client objectives and brand identity.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and expectations, translating them into actionable event plans.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget management, and timeline development.
  • Oversee the production of event collateral, including invitations, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact throughout the event planning process.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the event team, delegating tasks, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success metrics, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.  
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within an Events Agency as an Event Manager, ideally with experience working with large budgets for high-profile clients. Excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff members is required for this role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent abstract management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Proficiency in EventsAIR or similar event management software
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events when required
  • Ability to travel interstate for events when required
