The Company:


Our client is a National Events Agency and Supplier with offices right across Australia in different states. They focus on University Events and supply all the requirements for Universities to run their graduations and other internal events. This is a permanent position that will coordinate and facilitate the professional delivery of events. 

The Role:

The Events Coordinator role will report into the State Event Manager and will be responsible for managing University clients and their requirements, as well as all the onsite events and hands on delivery of events on the ground. This role will work with internal teams to coordinate requirements and be responsible for the project planning of the event as well as ensuring the successful outcome of onsite delivery. 
 
Key responsibilities will include;
  • Coordinating the delivery of each event allocated to this position within the team from inception to delivery onsite 
  • Securing and coordinating the delivery of all resources for these events 
  • Leading the events team at every level throughout the event 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and similar stakeholders
  • Logistically coordinate all the requirements of these large events 
  • Manage all internal teams to ensure clients requirements are met 
  • Management of run sheets and delivery schedules 
The Candidate: 

This is a hands on role and the person will be required to have a great understanding of logistics, delivery and also coordination of multiple stock and equipment requirements for events. As well as being able to manage client requirements and plan out the events, this role will involve being onsite to ensure seamless delivery. 
  • Experience working on University Graduations seen as a positive for the role 
  • Logistics and operational experience seen as a positive for the role 
  • Be able to manage internal stakeholders and requirements
  • Drivers license is required for this role 
  • A can do attitude, with a love for thinking outside the box and ability to come up with solutions and new ideas definitely seen as a positive
  • Be flexible and able to travel interstate and outside of business hours for events 
  • Experience working for an event supplier a positive for this role
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements and policies and procedures
