The Company:


An exciting Association that have the majority of their team in Sydney but all work remotely are looking for a new Event Content Producer to join their team. This Association is a Profit for Purpose Association and they create networking events, industry roundtables, webinars and a TV series for their membership base. The organisation core targets are to accelerate sustainability across their sector and ensure their members offer an inclusive and diverse culture within their teams. 

The Role:

The Event Content Producer role will report into the Head of Event Success and be responsible for researching industry trends and topics, securing the best speakers for the events throughout the year. This role is a full immersive role and you will be working with committees to come up with content, you will be involved in researching the sector and growing the relationships with the speakers. 

Key responsibilities will include: 
  • Researching the industry to develop specific conference & event agendas
  • Able to delve into the research and content of the topics that will be relevant for the sector and really pull together ideas for the market
  • Secure speakers identified as thought leaders in their industry through research conducted and working with committees
  • Liaising with speakers and ensuring content fits requirements of conference, roundtable, webinar or TV series
  • Oversee production of event material ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Creation of all event promotional material
  • Responsible for project management and implementation of all events with the events team 
The Candidate: 

Having worked as a Conference Producer or Senior Conference Producer in either an agency or Association previously, you will be looking for a role that you can delve into the content and research for. This is not a fast paced agency environment, being an Association while they have quite a number of events, the pace is more detailed and slower than agency. 
  • Ability to create content and research new emerging concepts within the market
  • An understanding of the current conference market seen as a positive
  • Experience conducting research
  • Able to contribute to topic generation  
  • Brilliant copy writing ability 
  • Ability to confidently work with advisory board 
  • A high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and drive to succeed
  • Ability to travel interstate for events
