The Company:

This company is a full service marketing and events agency specialising in brand activation, experiential marketing and events. Established over 10 years ago they focus on action driven campaigns for marketing teams across Australia. They work with national and global brands and activate those brands through events and campaigns. Their clients come to them for their ideas, insights, inspiration and dedication. 

The Role:

The Account Manager is responsible for implementing events and brand activation campaigns building strong relationships with clients and suppliers to meet the clients need and expectations. Key capabilities necessary to carry out this role include strong communication and project management skills, experience in events and activations, an understanding of the budgeting process, good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Nurture and grow client relationships, being the day to day contact for projects
  • Ensure all clients expectations are met during the project from receipt of brief to close of job
  • Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and on budget
  • Review, digest and understanding client briefs with Head of Client Service
  • Prepare and facilitate creative concept brainstorms
  • Assist with filtering and development of preferred concepts
  • Research feasibility of concepts
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective working partnerships and maximum profitability for the agency
  • Drive/oversee all aspects of the campaigns with the rest of the account service team members
  • Sourcing and quoting projects
  • Invoicing and providing financial information for agency forecasting
  • Agency reconciliation and balancing of all projects
  • Supporting the preparation of major presentations and pitch documents
  • Supporting the preparing of campaign evaluations
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience in the experiential events and activations, with a track record of client relationships and project management skills across multiple accounts. Experience in leading projects and managing junior team members is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written)
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Confidence in building relationships and negotiating with suppliers
  • Strong multi-tasking ability, managing priorities and workflow across different projects
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Workflow beneficial.
  • Experience in leading projects and managing junior team members
