The Company:

An events agency based in Ashfield in Sydney are looking for a Senior Events Manager to join their team permanently. An agency that creates their own events and conferences for a specific field, 

The Role:

The Senior Events Manager role will report into the Managing Director of the business. This role will manage a team of Events Coordinator and Assistants and be responsible for the yearly calendar of events the agency runs. 

Key responsibilities will include;

• Overseeing the entire yearly events strategy 
• Delivery of all events from end to end including conferences, seminars and webcasts 
• Key stakeholder communications management
• Identifying and securing speakers for the events 
• Working with the stakeholders to develop sponsorship opportunities for events 
• Budget and project management for all events
• Producing timelines, run sheets, contracts etc
• Managing suppliers and ensuring all contracts are in place 
• Full logistics and operations management
• Oversee all risk management and OH&S compliance at events
• Overseeing a team of events staff  

The Candidate: 

With experience working as an Events Manager for either an Association or Events Agency, the candidate will have previous experience managing teams. With experience managing conferences, seminars and webcasts, you will want always improve on previous years events to take them to the next level. 

• Extensive experience as a Senior Events Manager 
• Experience working across a broad range of events including; conferences, meetings, seminars and webcasts
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Be highly motivated and results driven with exceptional organisational skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
• Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
• Be proactive and able to make decisions
• Sound budget management experience 
• Sound judgement and decision making
