The Company:

This company is a National Events Supplier working within the technical space, and they are looking for their next Venue Sales Manager to join their team. This events supplier are a leader in the space they work in, with staff all across Australia.

  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus super
The Role:

The Venue Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales pipeline for NSW Venues, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Manage the venue sales pipeline effectively.
  • Ensure all pipeline details are accurately entered into the CRM.
  • Follow up on all pipeline and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes within 2 business days of receiving a brief or the conduction of a site visit, or agree on a clear deadline with the client.
  • Maintain the financial tab of jobs in the CRM, ensuring accuracy and updates.
  • Ensure jobs are ready for invoicing at least 4 business days prior to delivery.
  • Upload a complete event brief/scope to the portal at least 2 days prior to prep.
  • Collaborate closely with the Venue Operations Manager to ensure seamless event delivery.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience working within the events and/or hospitality industry in a sales-focused role. A strong understanding of technical requirements for events is essential for this role.
  • Experience working in a client facing role and the confidence to communicate with c-suite executives
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of, and an interest in, technology, AV or Event Production.
  • Ability to work from the Sydney CBD office 5 days per week
