The Company:
This Hospitality Group is a power house in the space, there amazing team work tirelessly to plan and execute events, tailored to the clients needs with precision. They own multiple venues in Melbourne and this role will work within one of their CBD based venues.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time Permanent Role working on a Tuesday-Saturday roster, with occasional events on Sunday
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:
The Senior Wedding Producer will report to the Head of Production and will have 1 direct reports. The Senior Wedding Producer will be responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional events, as well as develop and manage client relationships. The Senior Wedding Producer will be responsible for managing and developing 1 direct report, and be a cohesive link between the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless events are delivered.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Facilitate every client request where possible, checking operational concerns with management where necessary
- Provide accurate run sheets generated in Priava outlining the details of the event for the Operations teams
- Coordinate all third party suppliers, providing the requirements necessary to understand expectations when arriving and working on site
- Be present at the beginning of each produced event to meet with the client and manage expectations
- Complete post event follow up and feedback collection from each client
- Provide sales support in the absence of, or when the business demands, to the Wedding Executive
- Ensure that all collateral sent to your clients is accurate and quoted correctly. Assist with the development of new collateral as required
- Facilitate innovative site inspections that inspire clients to book an event while selling goods and services to maximise profit
- Build and manage existing client relationships where there is an opportunity to generate repeat business
- Undertake the required processes regarding your direct report including 1:1s and performance reviews, and annual reviews
- Regularly touch base with your direct report to ensure they are motivated and engaged. Ensure your direct report is working within agreed guidelines regarding hours and breaks
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and coordinating weddings and other social events. The candidate will have experience working within a venue as an Event Manager or Event Producer who is looking for a new challenge to work on events at a large, well-known venue in Melbourne. Experience managing staff is highly desirable for this role.
